Hmmmm...I really enjoy doing portraits with ballpoint pens because drawing eyes and hair with pens is fun, but you've already done that. How about doing a surrealistic portrait? Something along the style of this, but more of a swirled posterization. The swirls are really cool and could easily be incorporated in the hair into the rest of the background~
